Love AI. Want to teach it to love people back.

I am a recent graduate with an M.Sc. in Computing Science (Thesis-based) from the University of Alberta, Canada, where my research focused on world models, Decision Transformer, and model-based reinforcement learning. I was fortunate to be supervised by Prof. Randy Goebel and Prof. Csaba Szepesvari. Prior to that, I earned my B.ASc. in Honours Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, and completed an exchange semester at TU Delft, Netherlands. I was advised by Prof. David Wang on machine automation at UWaterloo.

Former research engineer at Viwistar Robotics;
Software Engineer Co-op (Extreme Blue Program) at IBM;
Embedded vision & deep learning Co-op at NXP Semiconductors;
Autonomous driving simulation Co-op at Huawei Noah's Ark Lab;
Software Engineer Co-op (BETS program) at University of Waterloo;
Undergraduate researcher at the Neuromechanics and Assistive Robotics Lab, University of Waterloo.

In my free time, I enjoy sports and strength training, playing harmonica, sketching, exploring video games, watching films, et j’apprends le français tous les jours (slowly becoming a try-lingual).
